Solution: The Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) function can map the port used by a client for Internet access according to the client's request so that related applications run faster or more stably. Common applications that support UPnP include MSN Messenger, Xunlei, BT, and PPLive.

Configuration Steps:

Click [More]>[Advanced] > [UPnP Setting]

 Note

If our computer does not want to provide direct services to the outside world, and does not run the P2P software mentioned above, then we do not need to enable UPnP. Because once UPnP is enabled, it means that our host is exposed to the public network environment, any host can initiate a connection to our computer, and the NAT device will forward all the received data packets to our host without any authentication. In this way, the routing firewall will be completely invalid. Our hosts are vulnerable to malicious network snooping, and the chances of infection with viruses or malicious programs are greatly increased. So it's disabled by default.
